Biohazard & specialist cleaning
Cleaning for situations that aren’t ordinary.
Infection control, mould, fire and soot, trauma, hoarding and hazardous waste, across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset.
Discreet by default
Unmarked arrival on request. We don't discuss a job with anyone but the person who booked it.
Certified for the work
David and Marianna both hold the CPD-approved Biohazard & Specialist Cleaning certification.
Compliant disposal
Hazardous waste handled, transported and disposed of to health-and-safety requirements.
What we’re trained in
Nine specialisms
Every one of these is work we’re certified and equipped for, not a list of things we’d be willing to try. If what’s happened doesn’t obviously fit one of them, call anyway. It usually fits more than one.
Infection control
Outbreak response and controlled decontamination for premises that need to be safe to reopen quickly.
Mould remediation
Treating the mould and the damp conditions behind it, so the problem doesn't return once the walls are dry.
Fire & soot damage
Soot, smoke residue and the smell that outlasts both. Restored room by room after fire damage.
Odour removal
Toxic and persistent odours neutralised at source rather than masked, including nicotine and decomposition.
Sharps & needle sweeps
Systematic sweeps of properties, grounds and communal areas, with compliant sharps disposal.
Hoarding & clearances
Cluttered and hoarded properties cleared and cleaned at a pace that works for the people involved.
Trauma & bodily fluid
Decontamination after an incident, death or injury. Handled discreetly, with unmarked arrival on request.
Vehicle & cell cleans
Biohazard cleaning of vehicles and custodial cells, turned around to a documented standard.
Hazardous waste
Health-and-safety-compliant handling, transport and disposal of hazardous waste from every job we take on.

What the work actually looks like
Photographs from jobs we’ve completed. Nothing staged, nothing borrowed.
After
BeforeMould remediation
Growth had spread along the skirting and lifted the wallpaper away from a wall that was still wet. We removed the affected material, treated the growth, and dried the structure out before anything was made good, because mould treated without drying comes straight back.

Odour & nicotine removal
Decades of tobacco residue had turned this ceiling amber and left an odour no amount of airing would shift. The cleaned patch is the original paint colour. Odour work is only finished when the smell is gone at source rather than sitting under a fragrance.

Hoarding & cluttered properties
Clearance work is as much about the person as the property. We work at a pace the householder or family is comfortable with, agree in advance what’s kept, and clean the space properly once it’s clear. No lectures, no photographs shared without permission.

What we’ll tell you honestly

Biohazard cleaning questions
Is it confidential?
Yes. We can arrive in unmarked vehicles and plain kit, we don't discuss jobs with neighbours or anyone other than the person who booked us, and we don't publish photographs of a job without explicit permission.
Do I need to be there while you work?
No. Plenty of people would rather not be, and that's completely normal. We can work from access arrangements and update you by phone.
Can you deal with the smell as well as the mess?
Yes. Toxic odour treatment is one of the nine specialisms. Odours from decomposition, smoke, nicotine and damp are treated at source. Anything that only masks a smell isn't a finished job.
Do you work with insurers, landlords and local authorities?
Yes. We can document scope and completion for an insurance claim, a landlord, or a local authority, and provide the paperwork you need for hazardous waste disposal.
What qualifies you to do this work?
David and Marianna both completed the Biohazard & Specialist Cleaning course with Growth Nation, a CPD-approved training provider (provider #1018834), in January 2026. We're also fully insured, and happy to send certificates and cover details before you commit to anything.
How far will you travel?
We're based in Exeter and cover Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset as standard. For specialist work we'll travel further than we would for a routine clean, so ask even if you're outside those counties.
